Glass Replacement on Galaxy S10 Lite — OCA Lamination
The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen with a flat surface, which is a key advantage when it comes to replacing damaged glass. Unlike models with curved edges, the flat construction allows more precise separation of the glass from the display panel and better lamination.
What the Glass Repair Procedure Looks Like
Glass repair means OCA lamination — a procedure in which the damaged top glass is carefully separated from the AMOLED panel, after which the new glass is bonded with optically clear adhesive (OCA film) under controlled conditions:
- The display must be fully working — no spots, lines or dots on the screen
- Touchscreen functionality must work without interruption before the procedure
- The procedure takes 3 to 5 hours, including preparation, lamination and UV curing
This approach keeps the original AMOLED panel, which significantly reduces the cost compared with replacing the complete display module.
