What the buyback price depends on
The buyback price is not an arbitrary number, but the sum of several measurable factors. Once you know what is being assessed, you also know where you can influence the final amount.
Model and generation
The single biggest factor. A phone's value drops fastest in the weeks after a new generation of the same model is released — the market floods with devices from people upgrading to the new model, while demand for the old one falls.
Storage variant
The difference between the base and larger storage option exists with used devices too, although it is smaller than with new ones. Check your device's exact storage before asking for an estimate — it is the first thing any serious buyer will ask you.
Battery condition
With iPhone devices, the Battery Health percentage is decisive (Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging). With Samsung devices, the charge cycle count and how the battery behaves in practice are what count. A battery near the end of its life means the buyer has to factor the cost of replacing it into the price.
Cosmetic condition
Scratches on the screen, dents on the frame, cracked back glass or damaged camera glass — each item carries its own deduction, because each means a cost to bring the device into sellable condition.
Functionality
Face ID, front and rear cameras, speakers, microphones, charging, touchscreen sensitivity. A fully functional device fetches a noticeably better price than a device with even one non-working item.
Completeness
The original box and receipt raise the value and speed up resale. With Samsung devices, the realistic expectation is the box or a fiscal receipt plus a USB cable — a charger and headphones are not expected, since manufacturers haven’t packed them with phones for years.
Those six items are also all we need for a preliminary estimate over the phone: the model, exact storage, battery health percentage and an honest description of the condition. With that information the estimate before you arrive is precise, and there are no unpleasant adjustments on the spot.
How quickly a phone loses value
A phone loses most of its value in the first year — that is the cost of going from "new" to "used," and there is nothing you can do about it. After that, the decline is not gradual but stepped: the price holds steady for months, then drops sharply with the release of a new generation, a major retail discount on the new model, or the end of software support for an older series.
The practical consequence: two identical phones, in identical condition, sold just a few months apart can fetch noticeably different prices — the device hasn't changed, the market around it has. Apple devices, as a rule, hold value longer and more predictably, which is one reason demand for used iPhone models is consistently the highest.
Hence the one piece of timing advice that is actually worth following: if you are planning to upgrade to a new model, sell your phone before its successor’s premiere, not after. The price difference between "a week before" and "a month after" a new generation’s release can be bigger than any other single item. And if the phone is already sitting in a drawer as a spare, every month of waiting is a quiet loss — a device that isn’t being used doesn’t hold its value.
Buyback by post — from anywhere in Serbia
You do not have to come to Belgrade. We accept a new, sealed device by post with no further conditions, and a used one once the quiz estimate reaches €200. Below that amount we do the assessment at our shop, because postage in both directions eats up the difference.
You enter your details in the quiz, we create the shipment and you receive a printable address label. Attach it to the parcel and hand it in at any post office — you pay nothing at the counter. Payment goes to your bank account once we have inspected the device.
The quiz estimate is approximate. We make the final offer only after physically inspecting the device. If we do not agree on it, we return a used device by post at our own expense — with a used device, the risk of a gap between the description and the actual condition is ours. For a new, sealed device the return is cash on delivery, since there are no surprises at inspection.

Don't replace a broken screen before selling
This is the most common and most expensive mistake sellers make. A screen or battery replacement, which you pay for at retail price as a private customer, as a rule costs more than the deduction we would apply for that same damage — parts and labour here go at service rates. Bring the device as it is; we price the difference fairly and in front of you.
Prepare the device
First, back up your data. On iPhone devices, then turn off Stolen Device Protection and Find My iPhone and sign out of your iCloud account — without that the device cannot change owner. On Samsung and other Android devices, remove the Google account before the factory reset. If you are not sure how, we will help you on the spot. Wipe the device down as well: a clean phone with no traces of use doesn’t change the technical condition, but it confirms the device was looked after.
Buyback or selling through classifieds
A fair question deserves a fair answer: through classifieds you can sometimes get more — if you have the time. Selling on your own means photographing the phone, writing the ad, answering messages, haggling over the final price, arranging meetings, and the risk that the buyer simply doesn't turn up. With a sought-after recent generation that effort can pay off; with older models, weeks of waiting often eat up any difference in price.
Buyback is the opposite end of the same scale: the price is known in advance, the matter is settled the same day, and there is no uncertainty. Some of our customers come to us precisely after several weeks of trying on their own — both options are legitimate, the difference is how much your time is worth to you. One more yardstick when comparing: the price in someone else's ad is the asking price, not the achieved one; the only honest measure is how much money you actually get, today, in hand.
Frequently Asked Questions About Phone Buyback
Which phone brands do you buy?
We buy all popular brands: Apple iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Huawei, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Honor, and POCO. Contact us for other brands.
Do you buy damaged phones?
Yes. We buy phones with broken screens, faulty batteries, or other defects. The price depends on repairability and component condition. Every phone is assessed individually.
How is payment made?
Payment is made immediately on the spot — by cash, card, or invoice for businesses. The entire assessment and payment process takes 15 to 20 minutes.
Do you come to my address?
For new (sealed) phones in the greater Belgrade area, we offer a free courier service. For other devices, visit us at Bulevar Arsenija Čarnojevića 91, Apt 3, 11150 New Belgrade (Block 24). Open Mon-Fri 9-17h and Sat 10-15h.
How long does the buyback process take?
The entire process takes 15 to 20 minutes. Our technician inspects the phone, gives a final offer, and if you accept, payment is made immediately on the spot.
Do you buy phones without the box and accessories?
Yes. The box, receipt and original accessories raise the price, but they are not a condition for buyback.
Is an estimate given over the phone final?
A preliminary estimate holds provided the description matches the actual condition of the device. If you were precise in your description, the price does not change during the inspection — which is why an honest description up front is in your own interest.
What are the oldest models you buy?
The focus is on recent generations, and the current cutoffs per brand are listed on the brand buyback pages. For older devices the fastest option is to call us with the exact model — you get an answer right away. Well-kept classics are a separate story: those we look for through retro phone buyback, where age is not a flaw but a value.
What if we don't agree on the price?
The assessment is free and puts you under no obligation. If the price we offer doesn't suit you, you take the phone with you and owe nobody anything.
Can I send my phone by post from outside Belgrade?
Yes. We accept a new, sealed device by post with no further conditions, and a used one once the quiz estimate reaches €200. We create the address label, so you pay nothing at the counter, and payment goes to your bank account after we inspect the device. The final offer is made only after inspection; if we do not agree, we return a used device by post at our own expense.
