Glass Replacement on Galaxy S20 FE — OCA Lamination
The Galaxy S20 FE uses a Super AMOLED screen that delivers excellent color and contrast. When the protective glass is damaged but the screen itself still shows the picture properly and responds to touch, there is no need to replace the entire assembly. This is where glass repair by OCA lamination comes in — we separate the damaged glass, clean the panel and laminate new glass with optically clear adhesive, restoring the screen's factory look.
What the Procedure Looks Like
- First we check that the AMOLED panel is undamaged — no spots, lines or faulty touch
- The glass is carefully separated from the panel with controlled heating
- The new glass is laminated with the OCA procedure in a vacuum chamber, which eliminates bubbles and dust
The whole procedure takes 3 to 5 hours, because it requires precise separation and curing of the adhesive.
