What if the screen stops working during the glass replacement?

Screen glass replacement (OCA lamination) carries an inherent risk: the original panel is separated from the glass and re-bonded, so it may stop working during the procedure. If that happens, we install an original refurbished screen at our own expense — the panel is original, only the protective glass has been replaced. No surcharge, with the same 15-day warranty. On Samsung devices this has no side effects. Screen glass replacement is therefore performed only with the customer's prior consent, given when booking or at drop-off and recorded on the order.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Screen Glass Replacement

When only the protective glass is cracked and the picture and touch still work, glass replacement (OCA lamination) costs less than replacing the whole screen. The original display panel of your Galaxy S23 stays in the phone — only the protective glass is changed.

We separate the damaged glass from the panel and clean the panel of old adhesive. The new glass is bonded with optically clear adhesive (OCA) in a vacuum laminator and cured in a UV chamber. Before handover we check the display and touch across the whole screen.
