Front Screen Glass Repair for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3
The Galaxy Z Fold3 features two screens — an inner foldable 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and an outer front (cover) screen measuring 6.2 inches. Glass repair via OCA lamination is possible only on the front screen. The inner foldable panel uses an entirely different technology with ultra-thin glass (UTG) and cannot be repaired in this way.
When repair is the right solution
If the glass on your Z Fold3's front screen is cracked or covered in a spider web of cracks, but the display itself works normally — the image is clear, touch responds, and there are no lines or spots — then OCA lamination is the ideal choice. The procedure involves removing the damaged top glass layer and bonding a new one using optically clear adhesive (OCA) under vacuum, achieving factory-level image quality without replacing the entire screen assembly.
When repair is not possible
If the front screen displays vertical lines, has dead pixels, colored dots, or doesn't respond to touch — the AMOLED panel beneath the glass is damaged, and a complete screen replacement is needed rather than a repair.
Procedure and warranty
Front glass repair on the Z Fold3 takes 3–5 hours. We use specialized equipment to separate the glass from the AMOLED panel and vacuum OCA lamination for a flawless, bubble-free result. The completed work comes with a 15-day warranty.
