Front Screen Glass Repair for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the latest generation of Samsung's foldable phone, featuring an outer front screen and an inner foldable screen. As with previous Fold generations, glass repair via OCA lamination is possible only on the front screen — the one you see and use when the phone is folded.
Why repair instead of replacement
The Z Fold7's front screen uses a premium Dynamic AMOLED panel that on its own can cost as much as an entire mid-range phone. When only the glass above that panel is damaged — typically cracks from a drop — there's no reason to replace the entire assembly. With OCA lamination, you replace just the glass and keep your fully functional original display, saving a significant amount.
Prerequisites for a successful repair
Before you bring your phone in, check the front screen: does it display the image normally, with no lines or discoloration? Does the touch respond accurately across the entire surface? If the answer to both questions is yes — your phone is a candidate for repair. Otherwise, a screen replacement is needed.
How we do it
Our experienced technicians disassemble the device and separate the damaged glass from the AMOLED panel using a specialized separation machine. The new glass is bonded with OCA adhesive in a vacuum chamber, followed by autoclaving to eliminate air bubbles. The result is a screen that looks and functions like new. The procedure takes 3–5 hours, with a 15-day warranty.
