One exception: if the phone's back cover is cracked at the time of installation, the battery warranty does not apply — a shard of glass can fall inside and puncture the new battery. That is why we suggest replacing the cover during the same visit; the battery then keeps its full warranty. The exception applies to the battery only — all other installed parts keep their regular warranty periods.
