Practical signs it is time for a replacement: the phone shuts down at 20-30%, the battery drains faster than before, charging takes longer than usual, or the battery is physically swollen.

How long does Samsung battery replacement take?

From 2 to 3 hours. The battery swap itself is the shorter part of the job — most of that time goes to curing the adhesive that holds the back cover in place. That step cannot be rushed: if the phone is collected before the adhesive sets, the cover will not seat properly. That is why the device stays with us for the full period.
