Phone Repair Belgrade Cost — A Realistic Guide for 2026
Phone repair in Belgrade ranges from a few thousand to a few tens of thousands of dinars, and the price depends on far more factors than most customers assume. If you have just cracked your screen, noticed your battery does not last even half a day, or the glass on the back of your phone has cracked — your first instinct is to google "phone repair Belgrade cost" and try to estimate what it will cost you. The problem is that most results give either outdated data or deliberately vague prices to lure you into the shop.
At the Viper Mobile shop in New Belgrade we have been repairing iPhone and Samsung phones since 2004, and in this article we will explain how repair prices are formed, what affects the final amount, and how to recognize a fair offer. We will not list exact prices by model — you can see those on our up-to-date price list, which is regularly updated. Instead, we will give you the knowledge to understand what you are paying for and why.
What the price of phone repair in Belgrade depends on
When customers call our shop and ask "how much does a repair cost?", our first answer is always a question — which model and what is the issue? Because the price of phone repair in Belgrade is not one figure; it depends on a combination of several factors.
The phone model — the most important factor. Repairing an iPhone 12 and an iPhone 16 Pro Max are not the same thing. Newer models use more expensive components, especially screens, and the replacement procedure itself is more complex. With Samsung phones the difference is even more pronounced — a screen for the Galaxy A15 costs many times less than a screen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, because flagship models use high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED panels. A detailed overview of Samsung prices can be seen in our guide to Samsung phone repair.
The type of fault. A battery replacement is a routine operation that takes 30 minutes to an hour and costs significantly less than replacing the whole screen. A camera glass replacement is fast and affordable. On the other hand, replacing an original Samsung screen on a flagship model can cost as much as a used mid-range phone. That is why it is crucial for a technician to diagnose the exact problem before any price is mentioned.
The quality of the parts. This is a factor most shops are reluctant to talk about, and it directly affects the price. With iPhone screens, for example, there are five quality tiers — from a budget InCell panel to factory Genuine Apple screens. If you are interested only in iPhone, we have prepared a detailed guide to iPhone repair prices in Belgrade. The price difference between the cheapest and the most expensive tier for the same model can be two to three times. With Samsung phones the situation is different — we use only original Service Pack screens, because aftermarket Samsung screens do not exist in a quality we would be willing to install. In some cases, instead of replacing the whole screen, a cheaper option is also possible — OCA glass lamination, which keeps the original panel and replaces only the cracked glass.
Urgency and parts availability. Standard repairs — screen, battery, camera glass replacement — are done the same day because we keep the parts in stock. However, rare models or specific components sometimes require ordering, which can add a day or two but does not affect the price of the part itself.
Understanding these factors helps you compare offers from different shops on the same basis. If one shop offers an iPhone screen replacement for 3,000 dinars and another for 12,000, the difference is almost certainly not in the margin — but in the quality of the part being installed.
Which repairs are most common and how the prices range
Over more than two decades of work, we have noticed that the same types of faults recur in a huge percentage of cases. Here is an overview of the most common repairs and their price ranges.
Screen replacement — the most expensive common repair
Screen replacement makes up about 60% of all the repairs we do. The price depends on the model and the quality tier. For iPhone phones, the range is wide:
- InCell screen (budget tier) — the cheapest option, a good LCD display but not OLED quality
- OLED aftermarket — a premium replacement, excellent contrast and colors, significantly cheaper than the original
- Refurbished original — an original panel that has gone through professional refurbishment
- ORG OEM — a new original panel, identical to factory
- Genuine Apple — a complete original Apple display with all components
For Samsung phones we use only original Service Pack screens. That means the price is higher than at some shops that offer "compatible" parts, but you get the same quality that was in the phone when you bought it.
Repair time: 2-3 hours for most models.
Glass repair — the alternative most people do not know about
If only the top glass on your phone has cracked, while the display underneath works correctly (shows an image, touch responds normally), you may not need to replace the screen at all. Glass repair via OCA lamination involves removing the damaged glass and bonding new glass, while preserving the original display. This procedure costs up to 50% less than replacing the whole screen, and the result is practically identical. Most shops in Belgrade do not offer this because it requires specialized equipment — a laser machine to separate the glass and a lamination machine.
Battery replacement — the most cost-effective repair
If your phone does not last even half a day, shuts down at 20-30% battery, or noticeably heats up during use, the battery is probably degraded. The replacement takes 30 minutes to an hour and is perhaps the most cost-effective repair of all — for a relatively small amount you get a phone that lasts a whole day again.
For the iPhone 13, 14 and 15 series we also offer the installation of Genuine Apple batteries, which is especially important for users who want to keep the Battery Health percentage shown in the settings.
Back cover and camera glass replacement
Cracked glass on the back of the phone or scratched camera glass are common problems. A camera glass replacement is a quick operation (30 minutes to an hour) and affordably priced.
As for the back cover (rear glass), on some iPhone models we use a laser machine that removes the old glass without disassembling the phone — those are the iPhone 8, X, XR, XS, 11, 12, 13 series, as well as the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. On newer models (iPhone 14, 15, 16, 17 series) the laser cannot be applied, so the whole cover is replaced, which is somewhat more expensive and takes more time.

Phone repair cost in Belgrade — how to compare shops
The phone repair market in Belgrade is large, and prices for the same service can vary by as much as 100%. That does not mean the most expensive shop is automatically the best, nor that the cheapest necessarily cuts corners on quality. But there are a few things to pay attention to before you entrust your phone to anyone.
Ask which part is being installed. This is by far the most important question. If a shop tells you "original" for an iPhone screen, ask for clarification — is it Genuine Apple, ORG OEM, or a refurbished original? Those are three completely different things at three different prices. If a shop says "original quality" or "AAA quality", those are marketing terms that mean nothing specific.
Ask about the warranty — and ask for it in writing. At Viper Mobile we give a 90-day warranty with a fiscal receipt on every repair. A warranty without a receipt is a promise with no backing. Do not accept verbal promises.
Be wary of extremely low prices. If someone offers you an OLED screen replacement at a price that sounds too good, there are two possible explanations: either it is a cheaper tier of part (InCell instead of OLED), or it is a low-quality part that will fail after a month or two. Both scenarios end up costing you more because you will have the repair done again.
Check how long the shop has been around. Shops that have been working for years or decades have a reputation they protect. Our shop has been working since 2004 and that is no coincidence — quality work and fair prices keep customers and bring them back. A shop that opened three months ago may offer low prices to attract customers, but has no history on which you can judge its quality.
Ask about the repair time. Most screen replacements take 2-3 hours, a battery replacement 30 minutes to an hour. If a shop asks you to leave the phone for 3-5 days for a routine screen replacement, that usually means they do not have the part in stock and have to order it — which is not a problem in itself, but you should be clear about it in advance.
Hidden costs you must watch out for
The price of phone repair in Belgrade is not always the final figure quoted over the phone. There are a few additional costs that some shops charge and others do not.
Diagnostics. At Viper Mobile, diagnostics are free. A technician inspects the phone, determines the exact problem and quotes the price before any intervention. If the price does not suit you, we return your phone at no charge. However, some shops charge 500-1,500 dinars for diagnostics, which should be factored into the total cost.
Courier service. If you are unable to come to the shop in person, Viper Mobile offers a courier service for all of Belgrade — the courier picks up the phone at your address and returns it after the repair. This service costs 1,500 dinars. Some shops offer it for free (usually included in the repair price), and some do not have it at all.
Screen protector or film after the repair. When a new screen is installed, it is advisable to apply protection right away. For the iPhone 12 and newer models we offer tempered glass protectors. For Samsung phones and older iPhone models we recommend a hydrogel film. This is a relatively small cost, but it is worth budgeting for.
A "repair" that turns out to be a replacement. This is a common problem with inexperienced shops — you bring in a phone with cracked glass, you expect a glass repair, and the shop replaces the whole screen because they do not have the equipment for a glass repair. The price difference can be significant. So always ask: "Can you repair just the glass, or does the whole screen have to be replaced?"
The part that is not returned. When we install a new battery or screen, the old part stays at the shop. That is standard practice and does not affect the price. However, if you plan a complaint or another repair, it is good to know that you do not have the old part as "proof" of the previous condition.
Transparency in pricing is something we insist on. On our home page you can find all the contact information and the services we offer, and on the price list the exact prices by model and repair type are shown.
When a repair is worth it, and when it is better to buy a new phone
This is a question customers ask us almost every day, and the answer is not always the same. There is a simple logic that helps in making the decision.
A repair is worth it when the price is less than 40-50% of the phone's market value. If you have an iPhone 15 Pro worth 80,000-90,000 dinars on the used-phone market, a screen replacement of 25,000-35,000 dinars (depending on the tier) is absolutely worth it — you get a phone at full capacity for a third of the price of a new one.
A repair is NOT worth it when the costs exceed half the value. If you have an iPhone 12 with a cracked screen and a weak battery, the total repair can cost more than the phone is worth on the market. In that case, consider selling the phone as-is and buying a newer model.
A battery is almost always worth it. A battery replacement is affordably priced on all models, and is practically always worth it because it dramatically extends the phone's lifespan for a relatively small amount.
Glass repair instead of a screen replacement — always worth it. If the damage is only on the top glass, OCA lamination saves up to 50% compared to replacing the whole screen. That is a difference that can tip the scales between "worth it" and "not worth it".

What the repair procedure looks like at the Viper Mobile shop
For those who have never used a professional phone repair shop, here is what the whole process looks like from start to finish.
Step 1: Contact and assessment. You call us or come in person to Bulevar Arsenija Čarnojevića 91, Apt 3, New Belgrade. You describe the problem, we give you a rough price and repair time. If you send us a photo of the damage by message, we can give an estimate even before you arrive.
Step 2: Diagnostics. A technician physically inspects the phone and confirms (or corrects) the initial estimate. This takes 5-10 minutes and is completely free.
Step 3: Repair. If you accept the price, we start the work. Battery replacement: 30 minutes to an hour. Screen replacement or glass repair: 2-3 hours. Camera glass replacement: 30 minutes to an hour. You do not leave the phone overnight — you wait or come back the same day.
Step 4: Testing and handover. Before we return the phone, we test all functions — the screen (touch, display, colors), the battery (capacity, charging), the camera, the speakers. You get a fiscal receipt with a 90-day warranty.
Alternative: courier service. If you cannot come in person, our courier comes to your address, picks up the phone, and returns it after the repair. The price of the courier service is 1,500 dinars for all of Belgrade (pickup + return).
Working hours: Monday-Friday 09-17h, Saturday 10-15h. Sunday is closed.
Frequently asked questions
How much does phone repair cost in Belgrade on average?
The price depends on the model and the type of fault. A battery replacement is the cheapest (a few thousand dinars), a screen replacement is the most expensive common repair (from five or six thousand for a budget InCell iPhone screen to a few tens of thousands for an original Samsung flagship screen). The most specific answer can be found on our price list, where prices by model are listed.
Is it cheaper to repair the glass than to replace the whole screen?
Yes, and significantly so. Glass repair via OCA lamination costs up to 50% less than replacing the complete screen. The condition is that the display under the glass works correctly — shows an image with no blotches, touch responds across the whole surface. If the panel is damaged too, a complete screen replacement is necessary.
How long does a phone repair take?
It depends on the type of repair. Battery replacement: 30 minutes to an hour. Screen replacement: 2-3 hours. Camera glass replacement: 30 minutes to an hour. Glass repair: 2-3 hours. In most cases, you get the phone back the same day.
Do I get a warranty on the repair?
Yes. Viper Mobile gives a 90-day warranty with a fiscal receipt on every repair. The warranty covers defects on the installed part — if the screen stops working or the battery shows a faulty capacity within the warranty period, we redo the repair for free.
Do you use original or replacement parts?
It depends on the device. For Samsung phones we use only original Service Pack parts — we make no compromise there. For iPhone phones we offer five quality tiers of screen (from InCell to Genuine Apple), so you choose yourself according to your budget and expectations. Before the repair we always clearly state which part is being installed and how much it costs.
Can I send my phone by courier?
Yes. Our courier service covers all of Belgrade — the courier comes to your address, picks up the phone, brings it to the shop, and returns it to you after the repair. The price of this service is 1,500 dinars (pickup + return included).
How do I know whether a repair is worth it or it is better to buy a new phone?
A general rule: if the repair price does not exceed 40-50% of the phone's market value, the repair is worth it. A battery replacement is almost always worth it regardless of the model. If you are not sure, call us — we will give you honest advice, because it is not in our interest to do a repair that does not make sense for you.
Conclusion
The cost of phone repair in Belgrade depends on the model, the type of fault, the quality of the installed part and the shop you choose. The most important thing you can do before a repair is to inform yourself — know which part is being installed, whether there is a cheaper alternative (such as a glass repair instead of a screen replacement), and whether you get a warranty with a fiscal receipt.
