What Your iPhone Shows After a Battery Replacement
On iPhone 12 and newer models running a current version of iOS, after we install a replacement battery (premium or JCID Enhanced) iOS asks for a single restart to finish configuring it, then records the battery in Settings → General → About → Parts & Service History with the status "Used". That is Apple’s standard label for any battery not installed by Apple — an informational note, not an error. Battery Health works normally and shows the full capacity of the new battery, with no warnings and no feature restrictions. The screenshots below were taken on iOS 26.6 right after installation.

That is why we suggest replacing the cover during the same visit; the battery then keeps its full warranty. The exception applies to the battery only — all other installed parts keep their regular warranty periods.
